Paul Allen Parking Spot . . . For his Yacht, at Olympics

Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen won’t be circling around the block, looking for a parking spot; not when he goes to London for the 2012 Olympics.

Jameslist (cool site) is reporting that Allen has already booked a berth for his 414 ft Yacht, Octopus.

Allen has grabbed the only berth that will accommodate a yacht as large as Octopus. However, if your boat is a little smaller, you might want to contact Mark Upton of MGMT. His group is putting together packages for superyacht owners that include tickets for the top Olympic events. MGMT is also offering a full range of concierge service in addition to the dockage.

If you don’t own a yacht, that’s not a problem, Upton will arrange for you to use somebody else’s during the Olympics, or at any other time.
